for defects; Applies gel-coat prior to application of other fiberglass

Marine Mechanics are Responsible
for installing, diagnosing and repairing inboard and outboard engines on boats;
Marine mechanics usually acquire knowledge through an Associate’s Degree in Marine
and small engine repair; Mechanics typically work for boat dealerships, repair
shops or boat rental companies .
* Welder *
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and
principle, Involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints,
drawings, and models; Knowledge of welding/grinding procedures; Knowledge to
start with blueprints and build tank from start to finish; Ability to keep hand
and arm steady while moving or holding arm and hand in one position; Ability to
meet budgeted hours requirements; Ability to read cut sheets, blueprints, and
tape measures; Good in stainless steel and/or Aluminum.

Duties and Functions:
Considerable knowledge of the practices of seamanship, including navigation, tide movements,
marine safety and boat operations; Some knowledge of weather as its changes affects the operation of sea going vessels; Must be able to perform basic maintenance and emergency
repairs on vessels, equipment and docks; Secure boats to docks and mooring buoys with
mooring lines, and cast off lines to enable departure; Ability to react quickly in emergencies; Ensuring vessel is equipped with all the relevant safety equipment and good housekeeping is maintained daily; Logs and records operational details of travel, ship positions and movements, ports of call, weather and sea conditions; Arrange repairs, fuel, and supplies for vessels; Maintain cleanliness of docks and assist dock workers with duties such as securing boats to docks, monitoring power, water and proper waste disposal; Performs related work as required.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years work experience in the same job; Strong attention
