**GLOBAL MARINE SYSTEMS LIMITED **

* General Operative Electrician *

Maintenance of new Depot’s electrical systems as and when required, depot manager to assist required; Fault finding on Depot’s existing electrical systems; General assistance to welders and mechanics; Maintenance on Depot’s structures-internal and external; Maintenance on Depot’s equipment as and when required; Assist during cable transfer operations to main part of the job; To supervise the general operatives and stevedores during cable work and maintenance; to issue the general operatives tasks that will result in timely and safe transfer of cable and plant to ships.

* General Operative / Welder *

The successful candidate will have experience of oxyacetylene cutting and arc (stick) welding and general labour working; Must live in the Olongapo / Subic area; Installation of any new steel work at Depot as and when required (seldom); Repairs on any of Depot’s existing structures that need welding; No Hot work, welding or Grinding can be carried out without a hot work permit, tool box tak and risk assessment; Assist in general fabrications works as directed by the depot general manager; Maintenance on Depots structures-internal and external; Maintenance on Depot’s structures-internal and external; Maintenance on Depot’s equipment as and when required; Assist during cable transfer operations to main part of the job.

* General Operative / Mechanic *

Must have experience of motor vehicle repair; Must live in Subic / Olongapo area; Assist in the maintenance of depot vehicles and simple mechanical plant as and when required; Repairs on any of Depot’s existing structures Installation of anew steel work at Depot as and when required (seldom); Repairs on any of Depot’s existing structures that need welding; No Hot work, welding or Grinding can be carried out without a hot work permit, tool box tak and risk assessment; Assist in general fabrications works as directed by the depot general manager; Maintenance on Depots structures-internal and external; Maintenance on Depot’s structures-internal and external; Maintenance on Depot’s equipment as and when required; Assist during cable transfer operations to main part of the job.

* Driver / Messenger / General Operative *

Must live in the Olongapo / Subic area; Drive the Depot Manager to various appointments in the safest manner possible and ensures his safe wellbeing whenever and wherever possible; Adhere to local driving laws and the company mobile phone policy; Attend to special tasks assigned by the Depot Manager or the Manager- Operations during including simple maintenance procedures such as painting and operating cable haulers during cable ship operations;  attend to delivery of written communications, bill payments to and from the Depot; Attend to all other messenger tasks for the Depot as and when required; Act as assistant Depot First Aider (training will be given); attends to the general maintenance of the Depot and equipment therein upon instruction from the deport manager; o tabulates serial numbers of jointing kits discharges by vessel and delivered by truck, for cross checking by the depot manager.

* Operations Manager *

The successful candidate will be a graduate; Will have a management hands on experience; Will be practical and technically minded; Must live in the Olongapo / Subic area; Act as assistant to the general manager as deputy Depot fire and Safety Officer and responsible for preparing and issuing evacuation plans and emergency contact numbers; Also, ensuing all fire equipment is in good working condition; to report any defects to the general manager; Assist the Depot Manager in all Cable Depot operational / technical assigned tasks; Along with the Depot Manager be responsible for organizing and supervising manpower for cable, kits and plant ship transfers  during cable operations and other work activities at the cable depot (main part of the job); Responsible for accurate recording, labelling and movement of incoming and outgoing submarine cables and other related submarine plant and equipment, as a back up to the Depot Managers Data System; Assist the Depot manager in overseeing additional building works; Responsible for the Purchase / Quality Assurance acceptance and maintenance within inventory level of Depot materials / equipment / tools, etc. In-charge of conducting annual inventory and updating records of warehouse consumable and outfit and ensures procedures in safeguarding these assets are carried out.

* General Operative Supervisor *

Must live in the Olongapo / Subic area; maintenance of new Depot’s electrical systems as and when required, depot manager to assist as required; Maintenance on Depot’s structures- internal and external; General fabrication works e.g. welding, cutting, or electrical work etc.; Assist during cable transfer operations to include rigging spans; To supervise the general operatives and stevedores during cable work and maintenance; to issue the general operatives tasks that will result in timely and safe transfer of cable and plant to ships.

NOTE:

Working hours Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00

Basic salary 21,092 x 13 months

23 days leave per year plus 6 days emergency leave

21 day sick leave can be cashed in at end of year if not used

Lunch is provided on normal non ship working days

Breakfast and dinner will be supplied on overtime working days

PAID OVERTIME WORKING IS A REQUIREMENT when loading and discharging cable ships or cargo to and from the depot.
