Marine Carpenter must be able to fabricate, assemble; Install cabinets, furniture, modules, and trim in a variety of boat types; Must have extensive experience with a variety of power and hand tools; Carpenter will be able to read drawings and construct a variety of pieces from plans; The ideal candidate will have work experience as a cabinet-maker, joiner, woodworker, or shop fitter; The ability to measure, lay-out, and assemble components inside of complexly shaped interiors is critical; Professional carpenters are preferred, but recreational woodworkers or boat builders will be considered; The Carpenter should have good communication skills, must work effectively in a team, and be prepared to communicate directly with customers as needed.

Working with poly and vinyl resins; Working with epoxy resins; Proficient in gelcoat repairs, matching, sanding and buffing; Proficient in building small molds and plugs; Taking classes of courses as needed to advance your training; Inventory control of the materials used for your job description; Keeping your work area clean, presentable and safe daily.

(Yacht) (Full time) *

(Part time) *
Works with a team of co-workers to upholster furniture (such as sofas, love seats, sleepers and ottomans) in a fast paced work environment while attaining required quality standards and while complying with all safety rules and practices; Able to use common upholstery tools such as air powered staple guns, mauls, hammers, scissors, regulators, tack pullers, etc.; Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend for 8 hours or more daily; Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers and eyes to upholstered furniture; Could require lifting up to 75 lbs. carrying 40 lbs. or pushing and sliding up to 200 lbs.; Requires ability to work while wearing required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses; Requires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervision; Assists with any other tasks as directed by supervision.
* Skilled Fiberglass Laminator (Full time) *
Be able to use hand and power tools and measuring devices; Read and understand technical drawings and instructions; Communicate effectively; Wok with others; Mounts rolls of fiberglass on chopper gun machine spindles; Threads fiberglass through machine rollers Operates and maintains the chopper gun and other lamination equipment; Adjusts controls to regulate speed, temperature, and pressure of laminating equipment; Uses rollers to physically remove air from the fiberglass and roving; Layers roving onto the mold for application of resin and chop; Observes lamination process, monitors curing time and surface temperature, and adjusts process to ensure compliance with standards; Cuts excess fiberglass from part edge; Examine laminated parts for defects; Applies gel-coat prior to application of other fiberglass material.
